Livio de Simone

Livio de Simone started out designing fabric for Emilio Pucci in 1960. Later that year he produced a collection in his own name. In 1965 he was joined by his wife Graziella and the firm established the group of artisans which still exist today. The label has always been focused on summer and on the sea. The label is distinguished by beautiful patterns and vibrant colors, much like Pucci.

Livio de Simone's main store is in Naples. They've had an outlet in Capri ever since Rod and I started going there. Jackie Kennedy Onassis was an enthusiastic customer at their store in Capri. Livio died some years ago. However, Graziella and their daughter Beba are carrying on the family tradition.

We know Graziella and have visited her several times in her Naples workshop. We were in Milan in October 2005 to buy for their Spring 2006 Collection.
